The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) has officially announced the champions of the National Esports Championship 2024 (NESC24) for Tekken 8. Wasfi “YoshiKiller” Bilal emerged as the champion, with Shubham taking second place and Abhinav “Tejan” Tejan securing third.
YoshiKiller and Shubham will proudly represent India at the upcoming BRICS Esports Championship (BEC), set to take place in Moscow, Russia, on November 9-10, 2024.

Overview of the BRICS Esports Championship
The BRICS Esports Championship will feature teams from various countries, including India, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, China, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates. The event will take place at the VK Play Arena in Moscow, boasting a prize pool of 1.5 million Russian rubles (approximately ₹13.32 lakh).
The tournament format will start with round-robin group stages, leading to Olympic-style playoffs. The finals are expected to attract a large audience and will occur on November 10, 2024.
